Puffy

Puffy, is a story whimsically narrated by the curly hair of a young girl and an ode to the beauty of natural hair. The story is about the ups and downs of an everyday friendship between a girl and her hair, Puffy. In the end, they remember how important it is to love and care for each other. Puffy's inspiration comes from the curiosity of wondering what our hair would say if it could talk,  while using imagination to encourage young kids to love and embrace their natural hair.  Puffy is not only for children with curly hair; it's for children from all backgrounds to learn from each other and celebrate our differences. Now more than ever, we need to further diversity in literature - because everyone benefits from representation." Puffy has now sold over 2000 copies and is in over 30 schools and businesses!
